Abstract
⺠The taxa's spectra reflect the natural site conditions such as surrounding wetlands. ⺠The wood was mainly collected in the close vicinity. ⺠High levels of light demanding taxa suggest significant opening of the forest by Neolithic farmers. ⺠Diameters of charcoal indicate no limitation of large diameter wood. ⺠Different sampling methods show a variation of results which may be caused by fragmentation.
