Abstract
⺠A much-enlarged archaeobotanical dataset from Neolithic Ireland has been collated. ⺠Cereals were recorded at many locations, most often at earlier Neolithic sites. ⺠It appears cultivation plots were not managed under a shifting cultivation regime. ⺠A decrease in crop diversity is apparent as agriculture spread towards Ireland.
