Abstract
While dispersal during in the Olduvai - Matuyama boundary (1.78 Ma) may have preferentially targeted arid and semi-arid environments, compatible with the environmental consistency hypothesis, Matuyama Chron dispersals (1.78-0.78 Ma) may have occupied a wider range of environments, consistent with the intrinsic hypothesis.
