Abstract
⺠Foregrounds identity and mobility to explain higher rates of CAM use in rural areas. ⺠Landscapes of biomedicine and CAM are shown to be decoupled processes. ⺠CAM consumption can function to situate mobile identities. ⺠The role of CAM in situating identity may contribute to its healing capacity.
