Abstract
- Asia is a complex regional complexity with land, climate and ecosystem.
- This region has more than 60% of world population and rapid economic growth.
- Asia has a long-history with traditional system and culture.
- A new scheme for regional sustainability is urgent and necessary.
- To promote and achieve sustainability of the Asian region, we propose a Future Asia (Future Earth in Asia) as part of the overall Future Earth initiative.
