Abstract
⺠We discuss the role of local environmental managers (EOs) to co-produce knowledge. ⺠We define our conceptual framework outlining academic debate and related gaps. ⺠We present research aims and the multiple-correspondence analysis (MCA) method. ⺠We surveyed environmental officials of 64 municipalities in two selected regions. ⺠The results show that EOs do not perform as catalyst of knowledge co-production.
