Abstract
⺠We reconstruct the advisory practices of an influential boundary organisation (BO). ⺠The Delta Committee shaped climate adaptation policies in the Netherlands. ⺠The boundary organisations concept focuses on the internal practices of committees. ⺠We conclude that internal practices explain only part of the BO's work. ⺠Interaction and positioning are important aspects of the BO's effectiveness.
