Abstract
⺠An analytical framework for analyzing climate impacts and adaptation for saline agriculture is presented. ⺠Indicators for impacts and determinants for adaptability and their rankings were derived from interviews with stakeholders. ⺠Impacts and adaptability of saline land use systems to climate change were assessed with participatory assessment approach. ⺠The results highlight the importance of land development planning involving water resource and crop arrangements. ⺠Achieving sustainable saline agriculture might require transformative changes in markets, policies, and science.
