Abstract
⺠We analyze how organizations and networks interact through agent-based models (ABMs). ⺠We show how preferences, rules, and network structure affect resource use. ⺠Long-range social ties and mixing improve chances of sustainable resource outcomes. ⺠With appropriate network structure, a small subgroup can generate sustainable use.
