Abstract
⺠We examine the pragmatics of working in a truly interdisciplinary group. ⺠We reflect on the philosophical assumptions that underpin different research paradigms. ⺠Recognising different paradigmatic approaches facilitates smoother transition to mutual understanding. ⺠Interdisciplinary work should work with rather than against different ways of seeing the world.
