Abstract
⺠We analyse recent power system statistics to assess Germany's phase-out plans. ⺠In 2011 already ca. 60% of phased-out nuclear power was offset by additional RES-E. ⺠Germany is on track to replace all nuclear power with additional RES-E by 2025. ⺠By 2025 power sector CO2 emissions could be halved vs. 1990 despite phase-out.
