Abstract
⺠Global food production and biodiversity conservation are increasingly linked. ⺠Policy and research must match agricultural and ecological properties of a region. ⺠We use production frontiers to identify critical production and biodiversity links. ⺠The shape of biodiversity-production frontiers influences policy effectiveness. ⺠Production frontiers enable critical trans-disciplinary appraisal of policy.
