Abstract
⺠MA's definition and classification of services may not be the most appropriate for monetary assessments. ⺠We explore the potential problems of using different ecosystem services classifications. ⺠We identify service overlapping and service ambiguity as the main causes for double-counting. ⺠Our analysis supports output-based classifications for economic valuation.
