Abstract
⺠Scientific expertise is necessary for evidence based environmental policy. ⺠We evaluate information from two sciences important to Coastal Management. ⺠Scientific knowledge may be necessary in addition to the scientific information. ⺠We suggest a management tool that integrates knowledge from scientific topic areas. ⺠This satisfies sufficient conditions for informing coastal management applications.
