Abstract

âº Knowledge gaps and opportunities for carbon storage in drylands are assessed. âº Data, modelling and process-based knowledge on C stores and fluxes is lacking. âº Opportunities for pro-poor, ecosystem service-smart development are outlined. âº Collaborative partnerships are vital to meet pro-poor, ecosystem service goals.
