Abstract
⺠Farmers in the northwestern region of Bangladesh perceived drought as the consequence of climatic and non-climatic causes. ⺠Drought is more frequent in this region than past years. ⺠Farmers experience drought impacts in their livelihood and perform various adaptation practices to endure with drought. ⺠Farmer's perception towards drought has positive outlook which helps to identify suitable drought adaptive practices to cope with drought. ⺠This study further suggests some recommendations which help farmers and institution to deal better with drought in future.
