Abstract
► An existing framework for selecting remedial alternatives was investigated. ► The existing framework lacks MCDA and uncertainty methods. ► A MCDA-based framework with deterministic and probabilistic methods was developed. ► The new framework ranks alternatives and shows the degree of certainty in a ranking. ► The new framework quantifies the impact of criteria in ranking alternatives.
