Abstract
► It is possible to solidify and stabilize automotive phosphate coating sludge (PS). ► Recovery was possible when PS content of the mortar was 20% and below. ► Solidification/stabilization (S/S) - treated PS is safe for disposal in landfills. ► S/S process provides a suitable waste management alternative for PS.
