Abstract
⺠BRT service quality preferences vary based on the residential location of its users. ⺠These preferences are evaluated for the proposed BRT service in Dar-es-Salaam (DART). ⺠Utility functions derived from a binary logit model were analysed spatially in GIS. ⺠DART utility values significantly vary spatially depending upon distance to CBD. ⺠The DART is perceived to offer a better service than the existing public transport.
