Abstract
⺠Investigation of factors that influence commute distance within the commuter shed of Toronto, Canada. ⺠Data are obtained from the 2006 Census of Canada Master File, which is a 20% sample of the Canadian population. ⺠Recent migrants commute much longer distances than long-term residents. ⺠Individuals living in the most accessible rural areas have the longest commutes.
