Abstract
⺠I estimate carbon dioxide emission reductions attributable to Cash for Clunkers. ⺠Two scenarios of vehicle usage estimate statewide and nationwide carbon dioxide reductions. ⺠Nationwide carbon dioxide emission reductions from Cash for Clunkers are modest. ⺠The environmental benefits and economic costs of Cash for Clunkers are clustered nationwide.
