Abstract
⺠It examines impacts of non-resident parking restrictions at commuter rail stations. ⺠It uses a dataset containing information from 32,400 commuter rail passengers. ⺠It uses four types of statistical models to examine effects of parking restrictions. ⺠Stations with parking restrictions are found to have smaller catchment areas. ⺠Restricted stations are less likely to be used by non-residents.
