Abstract
⺠We model biopolymer production based on organics from municipal solid waste. ⺠CO2e emissions = 3.4-5.0 kg CO2e, and energy consumptions = 55-76 MJ/kg. ⺠This is about half as energy and emissions intensive as production from corn.
