Abstract
- Approximately 23% of the 4 million neonatal deaths globally are related to neonatal hypoxia at birth.
- Most of these deaths are due to lack of knowledge and skills in the appropriate management of the neonate at birth.
- A bespoke neonatal resuscitation training programme can help facilitate the development of relevant lifesaving knowledge and skills.
