Abstract
⺠We psychophysically studied an arm lift task with lift frequency as the dependent variable. ⺠With a few noteworthy exceptions, frequencies obtained were much higher than typical in psychophysical studies. ⺠Subjects employed whole body movements in maintaining lift rhythms. âºÂ Changes in lift weight of less than 4 kg had a significant impact on physiological responses.
