Abstract
⺠Psychophysical methods are often used in ergonomics to help prevent overexertion. ⺠Load acceptability and perceived effort are related to joint moment loading. ⺠Psychophysical methods may be useful to protect against overexertion at the biomechanical weakest link in the system. âºÂ Psychophysics can be a powerful tool to aid in ergonomics (re-)design.
