Abstract
This essay analizes the 2011 Mexican constitutional reform on human rights from the international law perspective. At first instance, it remembers the legislative saga, then it studies the vision that the Mexican legal system has of itself and regarding international law; it reviews the reform from the principles of international law perspective and finally it concludes.
