Abstract
As Pasternak wrote a new version of his poem 'Marburg' in 1928, he inserted an exact quotation from Maiakovskii's early Futurist text 'A vse-taki!' (1913), which reads: “Ia vyshel na ploshchadâ´. Pasternak's reference to this Maiakovskii poem altered the original chronotope of 'Marburg' and led to a re-orientation of its content. The present note is devoted to some thoughts about this borrowing.
