Lista de conquistadores de la Nueva España y de los votos que emitieron en la elección de procuradores (México, 9 de enero de 1529)

The work offers the transcription of the list of conquistadores of New Spain and their votes in the election of their procurators on 9th January 1529. There is an introduction concerning the conserved copies and the context of the election. Following a heated discussion in the principal church of Mexico City the election took place before the members of the Audiencia who, after the vote counting, upon request of the conquistadores, publicly named the four most voted.
