Abstract
In this paper, we construct the traveling wave solutions to the perturbed nonlinear Schrödinger’s equation (NLSE) with Kerr law nonlinearity by using the modified G′G-expansion method. The traveling wave solutions are expressed by the hyperbolic functions, trigonometric functions and rational functions.
► In this paper we construct the traveling wave solutions to the perturbed NLSE with Kerr law nonlinearity by using the modified G′G-expansion method. ► The traveling wave solutions are expressed by the hyperbolic functions, trigono-metric functions and rational functions involving arbitrary parameters. ► When these parameters are taken special values, the solitary waves are derived from the traveling waves.
