Abstract
⺠LPS play an important role in maintaining the integrity of Gram-negative bacteria. ⺠HP0859 of Helicobacter pylori is a key enzyme in the biosynthesis of core LPS. ⺠Crystal structure of HP0859 reveals that the enzyme is a homo-pentamer. ⺠Each monomer presents two domains, a nucleotide- and a substrate- binding domain. ⺠NAD is bound as a cofactor.
