Abstract
The noncovalent interactions between 18-crown-6 and 20 common types of protonated amino acids have been explored by electrospray ionization mass spectrometry quantitatively, indicating the characteristics of side-chain of amino acid will play an important role in binding affinities the complexes of 18-crown-6 with amino acids. 55
