Abstract
A real-time PCR coupled with invader assay based on template and signal amplification has been established. SRY gene of cell-free fetal DNA in maternal peripheral blood could be detected with high sensitivity, specificity and non-contamination. Through sex determining of fetuses based on SRY gene, risks of sex-linked genetic disorders could be assessed to decrease the birth rate of sick fetuses.
