Abstract
A novel HPLC method with on-line gold nanoparticles (AuNPs)-catalyzed luminol chemiluminescence detector was developed for the selective and sensitive determination of levodopa (LD) and carbidopa (CD) with detection limits of 0.89 and 1.08 ng mL−1, respectively. The validated method was successfully applied to simultaneous quantification of LD and CD in the controlled-release tablets (Sinemet®) and human plasma.
