Abstract
Nanopore sensing is highly dependent on the pore shape. We reported an MspA protein sensor that is very suitable for detecting small molecules. By the host-guest response of am7-β-CD lodged in the negatively charged β barrel constriction of MspA, single-molecule analysis could be easily performed.
