Characteristic Study of Dissolved Organic Matter for Electron Transfer Capacity during Initial Landfill Stage

Dissolved organic matter which was separated from municipal solid wastes had electron transfer capacity. It could be used as electron donor or electron acceptor in the process of electron transmission between microorganisms and pollutants. So this capacity enhanced the degradation of pollutants by microorganism in landfill, and it was increased persistently during the landfill process.
