Extensive Imprinting Adaptability of Polyacrylamide-based Amphoteric Cryogels Against Protein Molecules

Both acidic and basic monomers were introduced to synthesize amphoteric cryogels. Different proteins interacted with their optimal combination of the charged groups to improve molecular recognition, leading to not only cavities of complementary shapes and sizes, but also right charge numbers and spatial layouts in the resulted MIPs.
