Abstract
The core-shell nanopaticles of Au@ polyvinyl pyrrolidone (PVP) with uniform size and controllable shell-thickness were prepared by hydrothermal method. The core-shell nanoparticles were assembled on Si substrate as monolayer array relying on the dispersion of core-shell nanoparticles arising from PVP shell. The Malachite green (MG) could be absorbed on the surface of Au@PVP by H-bond between MG and PVP shell, and could be sensitively detected by surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) taking advantages of the electromagnetic enhancement effect of inner-core Au nanoparticles.
