Abstract
A look at the relationship between chemistry and the art is presented, but making emphasis in the art inside chemistry. Without doubt, there is aesthetics in chemical formulas, structures and graphic representations. There is art in photographs some compounds and elements, in some representations of the nanoscopic world or in certain formulas of compounds first thought and afterwards synthesized. There is also art in some pieces developed by famous chemists, as pictures by Wilhelm Ostwald or music composed by Alexander Borodin.
