Abstract
In order to improve the educational process of professional competences pattern, the main objective of this work is to present some relevant concepts and aspects about the competency outcomes and its impact about higher education performance. The implication in the teaching learning process is enough for planning changes of methodologies and strategies for student performance assessment in our universities.
