Abstract
We shall offer a broad view about the use of ICT in teaching Chemistry and we shall describe some significant applications for classroom and out-of-classroom use. In particular, we shall focus on the evaluation of these experiences. Special emphasis will be put in experiences that involve student collaboration and international collaborative projects. As a basic framework we shall take into account the double perspective of diagnosis and prognosis, by analyzing the present situation as well as some proposals for the future.
