Integración de la Química General en la carrera de Ingeniería Mecánica utilizando problemas profesionales

The main objective of this paper is to establish a strategy based on the integration of General Chemistry contents with different subjects of the speciality of Mechanical Engineering by means of solving artificial professional problems in practical activities. With the application of professional problems good results were obtained in the previous preparation of the students and in their participation in classes. The method of group learning has been also used.
