Abstract

•It is the first time that the existence and exponential stability of almost periodic solutions for impulsive BAM neural networks are obtained on time scales.•The results are essentially new when the time scale T=RT=R or T=ZT=Z.•The methods and lemmas used in this paper can be applied to study almost periodic problems of other impulsive dynamical models on time scales.

This paper is concerned with a class of impulsive BAM neural networks with variable delays on time scales. Some sufficient conditions are established to ensure the existence and exponential stability of almost periodic solutions for such class of impulsive BAM neural networks. The results are essentially new when T=RT=R or T=ZT=Z. It is the first time that the existence and exponential stability of almost periodic solutions for impulsive BAM neural networks are obtained on time scales. Furthermore, an example and numerical simulations are given to illustrate our effectiveness of the obtained results.
