Abstract
► Random graph and cellular automaton are used to model coupled neural networks. ► Simulations reveal how the connectivity affects the occurrence of synchronization. ► Synchrony can be achieved with each network in a distinct oscillation frequency. ► The simulation results are discussed from a neurobiological point of view.
