Abstract
The G′G-expansion method can be used to construct exact travelling wave solutions of nonlinear evolution equations. In this paper, we explore new application of this method to some special nonlinear evolution equations, the balance numbers of which are not positive integers. Then new types of exact travelling wave solutions are obtained to the Eckhaus equation, the modified Burgers’ equation and a kind of nonlinear reaction-diffusion equation.
