Abstract
In this paper, numerical solution of Volterra integro-differential equation by means of the Sinc collocation method is considered. Convergence analysis is given, it is shown that the Sinc solution produces an error of order Oe-kN where k>0k>0 is a constant. This approximation reduces the Volterra integro-differential equation to an explicit system of algebraic equations. The method is applied to a few test examples to illustrate the accuracy and the implementation of the method.
