Abstract
► Eight new alkaloids together with 10 known compounds were obtained from Toddalia asiatica. ► Benzo[c]phenanthridine-type alkaloids exhibited most potent cytotoxicity. ► Benzo[c]phenanthridine-type alkaloids showed significant antimicrobial properties. ► Benzo[c]phenanthridine-type alkaloids possess high antifungal activities.
