Abstract
⺠RSC's potential as a source of pectin has been studied. ⺠Effective combination process that would obtain high pectin yields was investigated. ⺠Pectin yield was increased by FRP- or EH-containing combinations. ⺠CT decreased the pectin yield because of breaking the galacturonic acid. ⺠Combination process FRP/EH results the highest pectin production.
