Abstract
⺠An alkaloid from herbal plant inhibits P-gp and MRP1 as a competitive inhibitor. ⺠The alkaloid glaucine suppressed expression of both genes. ⺠Glaucine can reverse multidrug resistance of cancer cells effectively.
