Abstract
⺠β-Cryptoxanthin exhibited a dose-dependent anti-proliferative activity on BGC-823. ⺠β-Cryptoxanthin suppressed the cell migration as measured by scratch assay. ⺠We examined significant variations in cell cycle and its regulators. ⺠β-Cryptoxanthin restrained the expression of cyclin D1, cyclin E and induced p21. ⺠β-Cryptoxanthin induced the mRNA levels of retinoic acid receptor β (RARβ).
